They also convened a symposium, "Towards Zero Poaching in Asia", which brought together various organizations to develop a coordinated strategy to eradicate poaching of tigers, rhinos, and elephants, and introduced a Zero Poaching Toolkit to assist countries in achieving this goal.
• Protecting Rhinos: WWF worked towards the conservation of both African and Asian rhino species, particularly focusing on the critically endangered Sumatran and Javan rhinos. They highlighted the severity of poaching and habitat loss as the primary threats to rhino survival.
