In this course, you’ll discover how everyday collage materials, including postage stamps, can become the starting point for imaginative and meaningful artworks. You’ll learn to create layered backgrounds using paper, print, colour and texture, then use postage stamps as prompts for design ideas, visual storytelling and creative exploration.
 
Through simple, hands-on activities, you’ll experiment with composition, contrast, scale, arrangement and adhesion. You’ll explore how a small stamp can suggest a place, time, memory, character or story, helping you develop ideas for a finished mixed-media artwork.

No previous art experience is needed. This course encourages curiosity, experimentation and personal expression as you build confidence step by step.
